Lock-outs happen at the least convenient time, call Iowa Lock Doc to help you get back inside quickly. Call to verify a booking. 515-233-2491 Be ready to provide the following information: 1) Your location, as best as you can. If you're in a parking lot, describe where the car is at. 2) The Year, Make, Model, Color of the Vehicle, and VIN and/or License Plate number. It may be helpful to take a picture of your car, VIN and/or your location to help me locate you and insure quick access. For convenience, a number may be provided to you text pictures to, or they can be emailed. ** Is your drivers license and car registration readily available (or vehicle rental contract)? They will be required upon entry. ** If you are not the owner of the vehicle (not listed on the vehicle registration) or your drivers license information does not match the vehicle registration, please contact Iowa Lock Doc for additional options. Local Automotive Lockout Service is within a 15 mile radius of Ames. An additional mileage charge will be added for each 5 mile distance beyond the initial radius. - The rate includes up to the first 45 minutes of entry attempt and necessary drivetime from time of dispatch. Arrival time is typically under 30 minutes if in or near Ames, times may vary depending on your location, time of day, and from where I dispatch from. - Unlocks typically can be accomplished quickly, but in certain situations, with certain locks, or when certain conditions exist...it may take longer and additional parts or charges may apply. - Gameday rate applies between 4hrs prior to the start time listed, and 2hrs after the conclusion of a game in areas on or near campus and stadium areas. --Alternate pricing exists for Semi-Tractors.
